Needed to happen. He's 36 and the Caps are going nowhere. They need to move more older players. The Ovechkin era ends at the end of this season and it's time to look to the future. They need to get younger and faster. Just squeaking into the playoffs to get bounced in the first round doesn't help this organization.
I don’t understand how the ducks give up a 1st round pick for a 38 year old rental? What am I missing here?
