Canucks Draft Nicklas Jensen in the 2011 NHL Draft – HD

Nicklas Jensen is selected 29th overall in the first round of the 2011 NHL draft in Minnesota.

Nicklas is a Danish player with very Canadian roots as his dad is from Richmond Hill, Ontario. The Oshawa Generals say he has a quiet intensity in him to step up and play in big situations. – Bob McKenzie

  1. @ gonzee Congrats, but the rioters were NOT all Canuck fans. Do you live in Vancouver? If you don't, then stop trying to argue with Vancouver boys like me.

  2. Minnesota thinks they have a rivalry wid us?..dont both teams have to be good?..i mean Canucks already got that part:)

  3. This guy is awesome he's happy to be in the canucks even though ppl are booing the canucks welcome to Vancouver the city of canucks fans rock on

  4. @sandman8185 its because we're the only team the Wild can call their rivals, they never make the playoffs so it's hard for them to build a decent rivalry with anyone.

  5. points in the WHL arent really a good indicator of how well a player will do in the NHL. Just look at Gilbert Brule.

  6. Bartschi is close to NHL ready as far as Im concerned. At this point, Bartschi is definitely the better player. Its gonna take time for Jensen to develop; I think he'll probably play a couple seasons in the AHL before he gets any action with the Canucks. Its prob best that he develops slowly too. As for Bartschi, I just hope the flames dont rush him and ruin his development like Columbus did with Brule. He can play in the NHL, but he shouldnt be in a starring role right away

  7. Who did the Calgary Flames get in this year's draft entry that the naysayers are saying the Flames made a bad choice their first draft pick of 2012?

  8. Okey, as a Wild fan i have to say that thats a joke. Heatley – Koivu – Setoguchi against Malhotra – Lapierre – Kassian, yeah, better – NOT. And now, Zach Parise – Koivu – Heatley, thats better than your, my opinion, 1st line.

  9. Ignore that idiot, his arrogance is making Canucks fans look bad. A Parise-Koivu-Heatley/Setoguchi 1st line is really good. I think Sedin-Sedin-Burr is still > though. Granlund + Coyle on forward and Dumba + Brodin on defense sets up a very bright future for the Wild.

  10. just saying not many people can say their teams first line is better than the nucks two times in the past three years a nuck has led in points at the end of a season

  11. woah, don't get ahead of yourself yet, cup contender is still a fair way away. Although you are getting better, you still have a long way to go before being cup contenders.

  12. Gillis shoulda been fired strictly on letting Saad slip through his fingers. Now I know why Linden and Benning fired Laurence Gilman too. For the Saad fiasco. Shaking my head

  13. Gillis literally took the worst player on that list. Would have done better closing your eyes and picking at random.
