Ughh ughhh USA beats Canada for the gold medal at the 2026 Olympic games in Milan. Congrats to the States, let’s talk about it in today’s Olympic hockey video.
I found out the good news right after finishing a ruck march. I told the other marine officer candidates that this is the year and I feel it in my bones. Sure enough we won. I feel bad for Crosby because he’s my favorite player.
Have to disagree with Eck's assessment of Canada's players: Makar and Toews have no excuse for getting beat 1 on 2 on the Boldy goal and not taking the body. And Makar's backcheck on the GWG was atrocious: gliding through the neutral zone after getting caught cherry picking in 3 on 3 OT is simply inexcusable– he's on the ice and at least partially responsible for both goals against. Mackinnon's backcheck on that play was also terrible, he bounced off Werenski like an overinflated volleyball. I think Werenski was shocked with how easily he won that battle to dish it to Hughes– who was wide open because Makar was yet again puck watching. Conversely, Marchand had limited ice time but some great shifts in the third in particular on the second PP unit.
Too bad the USA men's team are bunch of pieces of garbage, talking and laughing at Trump's joke of "having" to invite the USA Women's team or get impeached, and also accepting the pedophiles' invitation to the Pedohouse. Knew Americans were sore winners, but I don't even think most Americans can support the Men's team after that bullsht…
Canadian fans saying they where the better team but you never heard that from the US after 4 nations because they where they outplayed Canada then. Bottom line the team that won was the better team. People saying US only won because of Hellebuyck is like saying Canada only got there because of McDavid. Bottom line the better team won.
This game gave me Bluejays vs. Dodgers vibes. So many close chances for the Canadian side to win, but they just couldn’t close it out.
As a Canadian, hats off to team USA. It was a great game to watch. Team Canada has nothing to be down about. They played a good respectable game. Hellebuyck was just ridiculous.
Plus it showed how tough hockey and hockey players are. 2 teeth knocked out…….”I’m good, keep me in the game.” Missing teeth in Hockey is a badge of honour. Scoring the game winning goal in OT after getting 2 teeth knocked out to win Olympic gold after 46 years………epic! Canadian’s can respect that.
No, I’m not a hockey expert. Just a regular Joe.
And don’t worry, McDavid will get his. You can’t keep a good man down. He’s too focused and has laser like focus. If I ever have boys, I’d tell them that he is someone to look up too.
“The better team” is bullshit to the Nth degree. A team is the sum of its parts. The US had the benefit of spectacular goaltender boosting the sum of its parts. That does not make it the “worse team”. The worse team was the one that scored fewer goals. That was team Canada. USA USA USA USA USA
Toews and Makar the best? I mean if we do not count errors in defense, which is no big deal for defenders I guess. Toews kept losing his player, gave away the best opportunities of the US in the game; he and Makar were big naive on the first US goal, Makar fumbled big time on the OT goal, took a risk, failed and then stopped skating…. I mean, if you're great offensively, good, but I wouldn't call you the best defender in the world at that point.
If Canada was the better team in that game, why did they lose??? Sorry, pal, but you're wrong…AGAIN. The better team won. USA had the better goalie, better teamwork and better strategy. Snobbish left-wing woke Canadian arrogance cost them the game!
Keep hearing that Canada was the better team. The U.S. had one of their weakest games in the tournament and still found a way to win. That’s what great teams do. All of the other stuff just sounds like whining.
Idk about Toews being one of the best in this game. IMO he had the biggest fuck-ups. I’m not gonna blame a single player for a loss, especially since I’m not Canadian, but he let Boldy through pretty easily and then proceeded to miss two open nets. 🤷♂️
Great game. Canada was strong for most of the game, but that's hockey. That defensive play that cost them the game was terrible. And Huges was just unstoppable. Plus there were other near misses for the US too, like that double dinger from Faber. The posts should receive an honorable mention. 😂
there were some comments out elsewhere calling this better than any Stanley Cup ever, personally i disagree best of 7s are better than Sudden Deaths, and Olympics is essentially just All-Star games rather than a playoff.
Still happy for the end of the 46 year drought🇺🇸 at least this drought ended definitely hurts more for Maple Leafs fans who are at like half a century now for a Stanley Cup😅
tomorrow is the end of 21 days of no Blackhawks hockey so pumped to watch the youth movement again
No, Canada was NOT the better team, they blew it when it mattered and the USA didn't. Canada controlled the play more is what you meant to say. Big difference in meanings.

IOC fkn stinks. Sorry for the re-upload. Sucks because the last one was on its way to being viral.

It hurt like helle being a jets fan and still trying not to cheer for helle
"Between Canda and the USA" 🤣
The 3 best players in the world (Canada’s 3 at the end in OT) all individually choked in the biggest moment…whew

Canadians played great but better teams win games and missing the net when you needed to score is not being the better team
70% of Earth's surface is covered by water, the other 30% is covered by Connor Hellebuyck.
USA!

I’m so sick of the crying from Canadians over Crosby. Please shut up
eagle>goose
3 on 3 is garbage hockey
"Canada was the better team today"
You know the goalie is also a member of the team.
Sucks, that sickness going around is brutal right now, hope you kick it.
I wish I could have gone to a party but I settled with watching the game with my wife and mom 😂 only guy in the house watching it, go figure
Sorry to see Binner take this loss since his season has been so bad in Saint Louis…

At least there were no pedo protectors in the Canadian dressing room😂😂
“Toews/Makar are the two best players” 😂 Boldy proceeds to split them 1-on-2

Again, hats off to team USA.

Both men’s and women’s Gold Medal Games were thrillers and both were won by Team USA.
If Canada were the better team, they would have won!
Happy that Team USA won, but I think it would have been a different game is Sid was on the ice. That silver must have stung hard for him.
after everything that happened after the game i really wish canada had won instead

The 3 on 3 OT format wasn’t for time constraints. It’s in the IIHF rule book section 84.6.

Hellebuyck for the medal of freedom. Know your place little brother. Did you get that stink faces from the women's team?

Huge win for American hockey. Huge win for American history.

Canada was not the better team. They didn’t win the game.
100% Connor Hellebuyck was the only reason USA won

Also, Canada nearly lost to Finland. Don’t forget that. USA was reliving1980 down to the come from behinds excpet Canada was Russia this time. 😂
