  1. Look at it this way. A first and a second plus mangiapani and all of his full salary for Murphy at half salary, Dickinson at half salary and Dach. Both Murphy and Dickenson are assistant captains, both big physical players and make up half of the best penalty kill group in the entire NHL. Dach is a young kid that is a big fast hitting 4th liner that should fit in with the bottom six in Edmonton. This was a need for the oilers in a bunch of different ways. They get instantly better on the penalty kill, toughness, leadership and it was a conditional 1st round pick and a second plus you dump mangiapani and his salary. They are a much better defensive team than they were 2 days ago.
