    Trading a first round pick for a shitty player might be the worst trade I’ve ever seen. This is wild. I’m now starting to lose faith in our gm. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

    I hear your stylistic concerns but the price I don't know is terrible when you see all the other overpays out there,& how many teams need centers. And doesn't the fact of what a disaster Toronto is play a factor here. And we also don't know. I'm guessing ROR isn't available & I don't think anybody wants Kadri at 7 million for 3 yrs. Maybe Trochek isn't going-i heard Drury was underwhelmed with the offers. Maybe that drove the price of any solid center-granted we know Roy can't be 2C unlike those guys.

    Sounds like a solid gritty addition to the line up. The only thing people will complain about is the 1st round pick until you realize where the Avs are picking at the moment. The Avs are bound to pick outside the top 30 this year and it's highly unlikely that they will move up significantly in the draft next year. And what do you really get for a late 1st rounder? Statistically, not much more than you get with a 2nd round draft pick.

    We were never getting Kadri. And the league is going to make the Avs overpay they know how good we can be there not getting any deals. People said we overpaid for Brock Nelson and he’s on pace for 40 goals.

    Roy is a very physical guy – if that what's the team needs. As a VGK and a Nicolas Roy fan, I think he will be a good fit for you guys. HOWEVER…A 1st Round pick is way too much imo…
