I agree with Eddie. Stop trading assets for band-aids that won't work. The veteran reclamation project needs to stop. Enough already. I love my Kings, but they need to call it a season and stop chasing big names to make a push. They're not good enough to make a push for anything, even if they make the playoffs.

Byfield heading the other way for Thomas is interesting. I'd say give it one more year of Byfield alongside Panarin and/or Kempe and we will then see who he truly is, and then ship him off if needed, but with a player like him, I'm not sure about it.
This isn't 2012, the LAKings aren't a coaching change and a trade or two away from catching lightning in a bottle. Time to restock the prospect pool and try again. Seems ages ago that the Kings prospect pool was considered top-tier.
