The issue is that none of the players the Leafs want to trade are not game changers and are only secondary/tertiary players in a team with playoff aspirations. The other GMs know the pressure Treliving is under to make trades so they will be offering as little as possible waiting for Treliving to crack.
The problem with Leafs management year after year is they think bottom 6 forwards will fix their team. lol It is time to move Mathews, and Nylander, restock your cabinet and move on. Leaf fans have to be seething

Leafs have no GM to do trades Treliving screwed Cowtown and now his fumbling mind can't do a sensible trade. Toronto Maple Leafs is built for chaos no matter who is gm. Btw, Treliving gets my vote for the John Ferguson Award of dumb general manager of the decade.
we have all been saying to tear it down to the studs for the past 4-5 years. Auston and Nylander included, especially those two. Imagine the depth the leafs can get in return for those two. MLSE only cares about marketing star players – the fans just want a good team
