The Tampa Bay Lightning dropped a third straight game last night to the Minnesota Wild by a score of 5-1. What happened to the Bolts in this game? Why have they struggled so significantly since returning from the Olympic break?
Andre Vasilevskiy hasn’t looked bad by any means, but we have seen at least two extremely soft goals allowed in the last 3 games, and he was even pulled from the game against the Buffalo Sabres? Is there cause for concern or panic surrounding the hall of fame goaltender?

What’s the main reason for the current slump?
Was at this game, we did not look good, and havent for several games now, the Olympic break really iced us.
I am sincerely hoping that Declan Carlile gets back into the lineup next game. He has earned his spot on the roster UNLIKE Liliberg. I want Conor Geekie to get an extended look in the lineup before getting sent down again. I’d like to see him get his name engraved on the cup truth be told.
The score could've been 7-1 with all the posts Minnesota hit. This is an early indicator of the playoffs where time and space is limited. The Sabres & Wild are young fast teams that apply pressure. Lightning are having trouble handling it. If they don't sort this out by the playoffs it'll be another first round exit. Right now they look old and slow to react.
Turnovers in the zone, failure to breakout well and not finishing our chances. This is all worsened by a team suddenly playing slower.
Little bro. 😆😆 The Bolts gotta tip their hats to the Wild and call them Daddy. 😆😆 Bolts will bounce back soon. 🤟💪
