A major St. Louis Blues trade rumor hits mid-show and the reaction is instant. Darren Dreger reports Colton Parayko to Buffalo is being finalized, and it could signal a full-on Blues sell-off before the deadline.
Randy Karraker and Matthew Rocchio break down what it means if Parayko is out, why the earlier Buffalo chatter may have been a smokescreen, and what a return built around a first-round pick and a young defenseman could look like.
They also talk about the risk of stripping veteran leadership from a young locker room and what this says about the Blues’ roster evaluation for the 2025–26 season

Parayko is soft AF!! Can't hit the broad side of a barn with that 95mph shot. Does not score and ice dance skates all night. BYE-BYE
I like the trade with Buffalo and think it’s a great move by the Blues organization. Parayko is 32 years old and had 4 years left on his contract. This creates some cap space in addition to getting Mrtka a # 1 pick last year and we get an additional 1st round pick from Buffalo. This is what the Cardinals should have done with Goldschmidt and Arenado a few years ago when they still had value. Holding on to a player too long never gets you much in a trade.
Denzel Jones!!!!
Lou Holts was an ass! When players had career ending injuries, he immediately cancelled their scholarship and never spoke to their families
What a douche!
