The great Central Division arms race continues to heat up, if any division in any year showcases just how terrible the current playoff format is, it’s this year’s Central
Everyone else has to wait to watch a cup final series. I (as stars fan) have the potential to watch 3 of them this year.

Sad to see him go. You nailed it when you outlined he got better when his cap went down. Same thing happened to OEL in Van – was making too much for what he was bringing. Once those two things became more balanced in Tor, voila. No issues. Myers also once stapled Duncan Keith and then laid out an Oiler who came to fight him, which I mean…come on. That's my love language.
He's also been an incredible leader on the team in terms of keeping some of the younger players afloat while the team has been drowning.

Meyers has been under-rated for years. He will be a beast for Dallas if they play him right. As a Canuck fan I wish him well.

This is a really good move for Dallas imo. He provides a better option for Dallas over Nils Lundkvist, and the Stars need RHD.

As long as Dallas plays Myers no higher then 3rd pairing he’ll be fine
He was really good for us in the playoffs, that's why Dallas is getting him I think but he's not great in the regular season. For 1.5 I'm sure he'll be a solid #5.
I would have preferred Detroit's 2026 2nd, but Myers has family reasons for going to Texas. He earned that NTC and gets to use it to determine his landing spot so more power to him. Canucks had better not be done selling, Garland and DeBrusk next please.
Bichsel is a beast. He can be like Darrien Hatcher but more of an offensive upside if the stars do it right.
