Wow, what a trade. The Blues got great value, and BUF gets better now. If Mrtka turns out to be a good player, this helps both teams achieve their goals.
How about that, I would not have guessed the first trade would involve Parayko especially with all the noise out there indicating everyone else on the table.
I like this trade! Yet he is a project that the Blues will have to wait at least two years before he is ready. Maybe Faulk stays around for the rest of the season and next year?
My prediction is that Binnington will get traded before Thomas!
Hope they take the “A” Parayko wore and slide that right over to Neighbors, permanently! He deserves it.

Holy $hit…..I did not see this coming. I am literally shocked! Sounds like Army just pick pocketed the Sabers…..but time will tell. I Hate to see Colton go…..he was a ROCK for the Blues and good luck to him and the Sabers. I hope they win it all. I say the Blues flip that Sabers #1 for a player and a 2nd…….This is HUGE!
