Trade talks seem to be heating up a bit as we approach the March 6th NHL trade deadline, which could feature the New York Rangers making some big trades with players like Vincent Trocheck and or Braden Schneider. In today’s video, we discuss some more news surrounding the Rangers and the Trocheck trade situation from Elliotte Friedman, Vince Mercogliano, Michael Russo, and Joe Smith of The Athletic.

Agreed. If you don't get offered a great deal I'd keep him and see if anyone offers a great deal around the draft
Rangers should be moved to Mississippi , The Mississippi Reptiles…and end this agony
Charlie is just coming into his own ..Do not sell him too short ..Remember ,he is only
21 years old and a big boy ..And a center
THIS is the offer for Vinny?
Tell them to stuff it where the sun don't shine.
The Wild spent their best assets getting Quinn Hughes; we aren't a charity or second hand store.
Vinny is a keeper for a team in transition.
100% agree. A 2027 1st rd pick what will most likely be a late 1st rd pick in a draft that has not yet been determined to be great, Charlie Stramel who up until this year in college was not producing at the rate per expected and has a ceiling to be a 3rd line center in the NHL plus a lower level prospect is not enough.
I would be interested though in a 1st rd pick, Jesper Wallstead and a lower level prospect for 2 reasons
Reason 1. Igor has not come out and said he wants to be here through the rebuild. If that's the case, your trade Igor, get a Kings Ransom and have Jesper Wallstead be your future goalie
Reason 2. If Igor does want to stay, then you can flip Wallstead for a 1st rd pick and a prospect. Here comes in Edmonton. I know Edmonton says they are content with Tristan Jarry, but do we really believe it? What if you went to Edmonton and say we will trade Wallstead for a 1st and Issac Howard, I would have to think Edmonton would do it. They have the goalie for the future to win a cup and we get an additional 1st rd pick plus a high prospect.
Charlie Stramel? The Rangers don't have enough bottom 6 wingers, I guess. Unless overwhelmed keep Trochek.
Need to not trade him. His contract is very team friendly and he would be a great example to the young players that will own roster spots moving forward.
Note to Drury- Do NOT trade Trocheck unless a team overpays to get him.
Otherwise you wait until the summer to trade him when many more teams will get involved who want him
I know Trochek has term but comparing him to Nelson? Cmon.
There getting low balled because the other professional GM’s know that Drury is a clown and is in over his head and has no idea what he’s doing and how to judge talent that’s why very simple !!!
NFW!!! I said it before, MN does not have the assets to make this trade; nor will they offer anyone from their line up….. this should be a laughing no!
If that's it no fucking thanks trade him in the off season
If this is the HEIGHT of his value (as some suggest after the Olympics), then it's best to keep him … he's a better leader then JT Miller IMO.
Trochek is a keep, unless we are blown away, trochek is a great piece fonthis “retool”. Need some vets to help the kids. We have him for 3 more years at a great price.
