Really hate how obviously biased the refs were favoring the kraken. They 100% gave the kraken the game
Thanks Zach, it’s just unfortunate, yet we’ve seen it often. Canes getting a lot of shots on net, just not hitting the back of the net. Freddie wasn’t the problem, although he didn’t have a lot of shots on him. Sounds like Trocheck wants to stay in the East, so that’s a bonus for Canes. Either Trocheck or Thomas sound great.
Keep Stanks and Blake tho, kids are go getters and play like they’re on fire! Let’s go Canes! 🌀
Between the ESPN play by play from gamecast, the Highlights of the game on the teams site and The Hockey Guy on YT, I get a great rundown of the game. (No Cable here) From what I saw, Kraken had 30 hits to Canes 13, so much for folks thinking Stanks too small and shouldn't be the 2C, when the big guys aren't doing much with their size anyway. 35 shots on net was great, all lines getting great opportunities, Ref's were bias to Kraken. That being said, Kraken's goalie was the difference. Let's go Canes! Vancouver should be a blow out game, let's go boys!
Freddie was out of position on both goals. Still 1 goal isnt going to get it done. Even the goal they got was kind of lucky because Marty was trying to pass it to the front for Stahl and whiffed on it and Ehlers happened to be there. The refs definitely sucked. They played pretty well overall though but they have got to be better in front of the net and have to score.
I like Thomas but probably too expensive and I really like Trochek!!! No to Hamilton!
The canes are their own worst enemy…. they get into trouble trying to be too cute.
