Time to tank lol
It's going to feel weird not being in the playoffs. We've been at this since COVID, we've gone the distance the past 3 years. That embarassing sweep against Tampa feels like a decade ago. It's going to hurt, and I'm glad…I want a taste of humble pie. Not that we're being arrogant, but I want to get that taste out of my mouth next year.

On the bright side. Next season Barkov will be fully healthy and hopefully a healthy roster. This was just a bad year with so much bad luck that it's impossible to see the comeback cats do something special. The one big issue is the goaltending. Holy hell that was bad. I understand getting Jones for a Cup run worked well but Knight would have been the goalie for the long term once Bob retires. If there's any top players who are dealing with injuries and are still playing. It's probably best to shut them down for the season because having to deal with a long term injury next season is the last thing that the Panthers want

Yeah at this point the playoffs are not going to happen. The East is just too strong to have the injuries we have had and to get so behind. Unfortunate but still happy with what we have accomplished the past few seasons
Even after the long break we still have bad Bob at . 869 we don’t have a chance to squeak in….
In all honesty, I do hope that Pomo and Zito do start to rest guys for next season. The only moves that I would realistically make is trading J-Bo and Greer, try and get some picks or maybe a decent prospect (preferably on Defense or Goalie). While I do really believe that they will not trade Bob but I do wonder about his future.
I hope that they get a top 10 pick, I would honestly draft a D-Men unless there’s a goalie prospect that blows people away.
Lastly there’s a lot left for this group of guys going forward into next season. I still do believe in this group of guys no matter what but man they do need to address some things.
Disappointing season and hopefully we’ll be back next season
I am exhausted watching them play. The offense couldn't hold on to the puck and the defense was one step behind. There wasn't a defenseman near schaeffer when he scored. also, Kunin has been placed on waivers. It's going to be interesting to see what happens by the trade deadline….
Yeah this team deserves some rest after all the long playoff runs in the past 3 years. This team really misses their Captain man Barkov is just so good. Hope he comes back strong and is confident. Man it feels like we didn't give up so many leads when we had Barkov out there.
We're toast. Rest everyone who's been in the cup runs. The team looks broken. Their legs are done and they keep getting run off the ice. Everyone is faster than we are now and that leads to so many mistakes.
Just not getting any breaks in the puck luck department. Poor bob plays ok and still loses. If they dont make the playoffs be ready to miss them for a while. All the people saying shut it down and come back next season, whos to say next year isn't worse. Cats are currently the oldest team in the division. Keep asking for them to shut it down and they will disappoint you all. 17 wins out of 22 games is even more uphill now than it was. Stop giving up until they are officially eliminated from the playoffs. Its not like the last few loses were against bad or non playoff teams. Go Cats
Good riddance. Stop playing the freaking starters already. Do NOT bring Barkov back, get our prospects in, and stop play-acting that this is a team that has the juice in their legs to even get to the dance, much less do shit in it if they did. We're done, we're cooked, we're finished. Plan for the long-term and set up for the fall.
This season has been a long dental procedure without novocaine. Was willing to see if we could somehow pull a miracle road trip out of our ass but it’s clear that’s not going to happen. Just the same pre Olympic malaise.
