  1. I don’t know how you can say to trade Gallagher after you saw the last few games before the break of that line that shut down line of the veterans

  2. Bolduc was due for a healthy scratch, mainly for his own good and learn from the pressbox to see things differently. Kapanen barely gets much for powerplay points as he contributes a lot more on the PK. I have very low expectations on any notable acquisitions by the deadline anyway.

  3. galaguer could be traded location because of his value in stanley cup series and besides Galy could have the chance to win a cup before he retires? habs could retain 50 % of another 6.5 million?? all depends who they trade for right?

  4. Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky
    Laine-Kapanen-Demidov
    Anderson-Danault-Gallager
    Texier-Evans_Newhook
    Veleno-Bolduc

    Matheson-Ghule
    Hutson-Dobson
    Xhekaj-Pareyko
    Struble

    Dobes
    Binnington

Trade Dach ,Carrier,Montembault for Binnington and Pareyko

  5. Gallagher has NMC so Jesse is wrong about him. Anderson adds size so he is not going anywhere. Love the show guys!

  6. Everyone can tell that Matrin St.Louis doesn't like Patrick..
Patrick is a really good hockey player and he definitely doesn't belong on the 4th line..
Patrick's been healty and ready to play for the past 3 weeks..

  7. This idea of fifth line depth Bolduc-Veleno-Laine is amazing, and this is not even considering what we have at Laval (esp. Beck as far as forwards go). That said, I still don't think we absolutely need a trade this year, esp. if it means we lose key defense prospects (Reinbacher-R, Engstrom-L, Pickford-R) or Fowler, no way. These three (minus Pickford) should all be Habs next year and will help us! If the trade is for a (preferably gritty) Top 6 wing or center (who can grow with the team, not an old man), I'd be more willing to trade Dach, Hage, Zharovsky in a package with say Laine and Struble.

  8. If Laine is on the IR he can not be healthy enough to play.? Don’t think you can have healthy players listed on IR.

  9. Anyone that wants to get rid of Gallagher isn’t a real Habs fan. Hes done more for this team than any of you ever could! It’s disgraceful that any of you would even talk about getting rid of Gallagher! I’ve watched him his whole career and anyone else that has would say there is a spot on the fourth line for Gallagher always!

  10. We need the team to be a team. What do Nick, Cole, Ivan and Demi think? Gally was heart and fn Soul in the darkest days.

  11. I am saying it, and Florian is a viable replacement. He can make great plays and punch your face in.

Keep the Xhekajs. Im not being funny. Gally, I think you carried this team on your back for well over a decade…but it's time for you to go to the bench as a coach.

Fuk me, I honestly hate saying that.

  12. Anderson is exactly the type of hard nosed playoff performer that the habs need another of so trading Anderson doesn’t make a lot of sense right now. Just look at his performances against Washington last year, he’s got to stay

  13. Get rid of Laine and Gallagher pronto. Both of them are too slow. Gallagher is winded after 20 seconds on the ice. Laine is lazy and he has no interest in trying to be good defensively either.

  14. You guys should put more respect to the players and stop putting them all on the trade block out of BS speculation. You guys are usually awesome but keep it real if you want to keep growing.

  15. Dump Laine. Trade Struble. If Cayden Gule can stay healthy i would consider trading Adam Engström to get a strong winger, thanks kevin

  16. Office didn’t want Laine in teams activity, but couldn’t make a trade and they HAD to take him to practice as a defender 😂

  17. Laine's shot looks as good as Caufield's. Caufield can also pass the puck to teammates as well. Laine has seemingly lost the ability to complete a pass.
I would replace Texier with Kapanen on PP2. I assume the idea is to determine if Texier is on the team next year.
A surprise trade could be trading Anderson at the deadline. He has the sort of grit in the playoffs valued by teams who believe they are in contention for the Cup. Hughes would potentially be "sacrificing" this year's playoff chances but the haul in return could be considerable. Hughes would have to the overwhelming winner of such a trade.
