As a Blue Jackets fan and an American, it pains me to see Leafs fans and other Canadians booing Auston Matthews only bc he won the gold medal for U.S.A., not Canada. Not mad, just extremely disappointed & sad to see a dedicated fanbase treat their own captain in such a negative way… Friendly reminder: real NHL fans support their teams, their players, AND their captains, no matter which of the 30 countries they represent and/or come from 🫡🖤
