  1. Gut it. Treading water does nothing. There are ++ assets to trade that can bring in the foundation needed to create a consistent contender for a decade.

  2. Blues don’t trade Robert Thomas and trade others before him either Thomas under a team friendly cap salary and we keep a 2 way player most teams don’t have 2 way players that he bust his arse every play unlike other players but Army will screw it up !!

  3. IMHO, it would be a HUGH mistake to trade Robert Thomas–they need to build the team around him, not trade him. Trade him and you will watch him get another Stanley Cup with another team while you suffer.

  4. Detroit doesn't have any Blue chip piece I'd trade Thomas for. They have potential middle 6 prospects no 1st liners. and 2ns pairing D prospects.

  5. Well… I've done it again. I bet $500 on the Blues today.. at ÷205 against the Wild. I will win $1000 if the Blues win.. and could really use it. I can't help but believe in this team. And Hofer will be in goal, which i love. As far as trading Thomas or Kyrou… I think it's a big mistake. Both players are on sweetheart deals… it makes zero since. But that's just me. Anyway… hope u guys are good: )

  6. Great recap fellas……Well as I see it, if Thomas is moved, then Kyrou stays. We have to receive a center in return if Thomas is moved. Strap in Chat Members, this week will be a Soap Opera and rollercoaster ride!

  7. The Blues need a True #1 center & thats not robert Thomas however Thomas would be the best #2 center in the league. Can the Blues wait a few years to draft & grow a #1 center? Gonna be interesting no matter what. Look at the next 2 drafts for a potential answer.

  8. Let's trade one of the best contracts in the NHL. I can't see it happening. He was one of the best centers in the league last year.

  9. I don’t think Thomas gets dealt unless it’s something absolutely insane coming back that Army can’t refuse. Thomas is a top center in the league and is essential for our future.

  10. Given that I've heard Thomas is not happy his name has been thrown out there, it's entirely possible (and quite likely) the front office poisoned the well on RT and now they really don't have a choice about moving him. They should have moved Kyrou before Thomas, and they should be moving Parayko, Schenn, Buchnevich, Fowler, and probably even Binnington before moving Thomas. This sounds very much like a complete blunder by Armstrong and the rest of the front office if it's true.
