Kirby's best game as a HAB! Also, Sammy Blais should be brought up for the playoffs, he will pay dividends!
Great show, great win for the Canadiens
I think this was dobes most technically sound game of his career
If I'm Montreal I'm all over Robert Thomas and I'm making a real serious offer, Rookie goal scoring leader Oliver Kapanen, Former 5th overall pick David Reinbacher, Montreals 1st round pick in this year's draft and 1st round pick in next year's draft. Kapanen, Reinbacher and two 1st round picks
Dobes is the guy. If Monty had those numbers MSL would ride the wave with him. So do it with Dobes.
Dobes plays like he wants to win… Monty plays like he doesn’t want to lose
Great commentary boys, keep up the great work,Habs should offer Marco a position,as an advisor/research role.caller from Cape Breton
Are we going to now start calling Slafkovsky, Second half slump Slafkovsky 😂
Oh my God balzc got an assist HOF here he comes
Do you guys love saying his name over and over
If Leafs ever decide to go in full demolition mode in the off season, how about going for Matthew Knies?

Thanks!
Ok now hurry up and put Monty back in there!!
This will be the time that will fix him!!🤭
Team toughness is a thing but MSL trusts Struble more and last night showed why. Struble played very well I thought
The best possible line up includes texier and does not include Gally… unfortunately for the vet
I 100% think they should give the start against San Jose to Monty because it's an easier matchup. That loss against the Islanders was flat out not on Monty. Not to mention the team Rally's back and over corrects after a bad performance in front of Monty all the time and then Dobes benefits from it and all you guys pile on like the team wasn't shit in front of Monty and great for Dobes. None of which is on Monty. The team needs both goaltenders playing well. So you guys need to get off of this bullshit trying to burn Monty for shit that's not on him
Newhook sliding back to that 2nd line center between Slaf and Demidov juste makes sense. Then you can either put kapanen on the « 4th » line or sit him out and bring Texier back
From this point on, Dobes has to be the starting goaltender, Dobes has to play 75% of the remaining games … As far as the trade deadline goes, I doubt that a true hockey trade can be swung for a top six center or winger, that will be at the draft or during the summer … I do not see Hughes overpaying for a player at the trade deadline.
Finally recognizing Dobes is the Number 1! Just wish they would have done this weeks ago!!

I would say Hage, Engstrom and a 1st is the most they should pay and I don't think that's enough to get the greedy ass blues to say yes even though they should
Everyone just needs to realize that the Dobson type of trades just aren't out there and the only way the Canadiens are making a big trade is if there's something like that to be had
I've been saying that exact same thing about Hage since November, I'm so glad you are finally saying it too
Not that Crosby is the absolute best face off man, but he's really good and I say that was arguably the biggest reason why team Canada missed him in the lineup
I’m in no rush to make a big trade honestly. They’re not cup contenders, yet. Monty is not the guy back there, Dobes is NOT the long term answer back there, Fowler is and he’s not fully ready. The defence is still to one dimensional in how they play, plus their coverage can be poor, moments of sleepiness, caved in some times. Still a work in progress. Need a top 6 player, whether it’s a second line centreman or a top line winger.
People need to relax. The process isn’t finished yet. I know everyone wants it NOW, but it’s not their time yet. Patience.
Great show as always boys
We can win with this team if healthy— forget the trade talk.
On faceoffs- 1000%. Yes.
Didn't the habs say " for the right player, they're willing to overpay"?
The habs have locked up: 14, 13, 20, they'll lock up 93 in July. They should trade for a 2C. Move Kapanen to 3 C. Move Slaf back to the first line. Put Newhook back on line 2 as a winger until Hage comes over. Use Hage as a winger, learning from the newly acquired 2C until he becomes the 2C in a couple of years. At that point l, do you need a first round pick or Zharovsky?
With Pickford, Reinbacher becomes a little more expendable. For Robert Thomas, would the habs do 1round pick, zharovsky and ir Engstrom or Reinbacher?
habs need grit…which they dont have yet
