I've seen him play a couple times in person, I can't believe the Hawks got him in the second round. With half the team full of rookies currently , the Hawks are building solid 3rd-4th lines to compliment the core.
I see him playing this year for the hawks you have to play 25 games to be eligible for Calder. Honestly this kids skill and the Hawks somewhat weaker Forward core with Hossa and Panarin now gone. The Hawks may nedd him to produce big early. I could see him getting at least 8 game trial and maybe more. Likely a 2nd liner to play with Kaner. Adds a right handed shot to thw lineup as well.
I could see a 10-15 goal season if he plays a full season with the Hawks. But Quineville hates rookies. Maybe him and schmaltz split some shifts on the Kane line?
Lol Debrincats stats get better when McDavid leaves and he outscores Strome by a lot and they still say he feeds off of them. Debrincat will be better than Strome. It's Strome who feeds off DeBrincat and he boutta get passes from patty Kane instead of Strom lol he boutta score 50 goals
