So I guess the Kings just need to play the worst teams in the league to look like themselves..
One goal against a team bottoming out. Kings are back alright.
Yes they won but Hiller still needs to go. The Flames are the best team in the league in the last few years as far as beating California teams, but this year they are bad team. Will the Kings look like themselves against an actual good team and this year, no they mostly haven't. Funny how they finally stuck the best 3 players to make the first line, ON THE FIRST LINE. Its about time. Give them a few games together and watch out. Lets see if Hiller screws that up. Armia has sure turned out to be made of glass this year. He is always injured. I think this is at least the 3rd separate time he has missed games this season. I wish they would get rid of Hiller right away so they can have more games with a new coach and get things shored up.
New lines click? One goal against a team that already checked out for the season? This guy is why there’s never any changes, fans are easy to fool and please..
wow we beat calgary. yippie
FIRE HILLER
They got the desperately needed 2 points but Calgary isn’t exactly a world beater. Still, 2 points is 2 points…
Still not impressed. Barely won Calgary. Can't wait for the off season. We need to rebuild and jettison Hiller.
Don't be fooled…they host the Avs tomorrow night.
Doughty being out is good news, if your a real Kings fan you understand
Eddie, I have been enjoying your L.A. Kings commentary for a couple of years now. I find you to be the best Kings commentator on YouTube! 👏 👑 🏒
Going to get flooded with emails after the avalanche game…
First time I can remember a game when hiller didn't shuffle the lines.
Keep that 4th line together please n thanks. #GKG
As I'm watching this I just found out that Jim Hiller has been relieved of his coaching duties.
Didn't get to see the game, and sure, 2-0 looks good, but let's face it, it was against one of the 5 worst teams in the league. It doesn't change anything….
If Hiller is no longer coach a worse scenario would be to replace with asst DJ Smith. When he was coaching Ottawa I was confounded watching a happy go lucky group who played with no structure. And then he ends up with LA.
As of today March 1st, Jim Hiller has been fired. DJ Smith takes over in the interim.
5 minutes after I added my last comment, I just found out Hiller was fired this morning and DJ Smith named as the interim head coach. The Kings become the only team to fire a head coach after a shut out win (ok, I can't prove that but it sounds good). Yells you everything you need to know. At least they are giving Greene a shot at the Assitant Coach position
Eddie breaking news. Mayors Manner just said Kings fire Hiller!!!!!
Hiller has been fired. DJ Smith in as interim.
At least Hiller is fired.
JIM HILLER has been FIRED! wow!
