I like Hutson… but I'm taking Schaffer since he's more lanky… so when He fills up… He'll be the closest thing we've seen resembling Chris Pronger… and though Hutson will have more offensive upside… I just can't pass up on a Pronger prototype!
Schaefer. This'll probably be a bigger story in the off-season because 'which young player that hasn't done much yet because they're a child' is an off-season ass story, but as of right now Schaefer is younger and has done more with less
Schaefer is 3 years younger and barely played last year in 3 years from now there won’t even be a debate anymore. He will be a better offensive and defensive player.
Mtler and Habs fan here. Lane Hutson is an overated head faker that has had everything handed to him from ice time to the green light to rush the puck whenever he wants to. They even gave him a free year of his entry level contract for 2 games played at the end of a crappy season. Hutson is the most overrated athlete since Nolan Ryan.
I'm taking Hutson's mobility over Schaeffer's scoring abitlity. But it's like comparing two 5 michelins starts meals together, especially how they fit in the team.
