Pfff, against the Mtl Canadiens the opposing guy took his stick, lowered by at least a foot the glove of the goaltender, and there was no call. So yeah. Oh wait, it's not about the action, it's about which team plays against which team.
What I see is the stick blade blocking the glove movement to the point of catch. They are outside grease and the stick blade was there first, but tarasov would have caught it if his hand was allowed to extend freely.
Yeah I don’t care if he speared him in the eye to score. Based on what Florida does and gets away with nothing you do to them should be banned. Live by the sword logic.
Yes it should be interference, take the crests away and just do a white verse black jersey. His Foot is in the crease and his stick makes contact with the goaltender’s hand 100% by definition of the rule. If his skate was not in the goaltender blue crease, then I don’t believe it would be goaltender interference. I remember the day when just a skate was in the paint. It didn’t count that was horrible. Now we’ve gone the opposite direction where we can have a judgment on something that realistically should just be obvious. First question was their contact. Yes second question was the player inside the paint yes third question was he forced inside? No, it’s a clear case however the NHL is far from clearcut anymore.
I'm convinced that referees just pour some tea out and read the leaves on goalie interference calls. It's even less consistent than PI or holding in the NFL.
If the player interfears with a goalies ability to save the puck even if the goalie initiated the contact if it was seen and attempting to make the save it woulf be no goal. The only thing i would say about it being a goal is it could be said the defender was pushing powers into the goalie. If it wasnt for that i would say definatly no goal but because of the defender im not sure. But it seems powers was going for the tip so being pushed or not it should be goalie interference. The last point is the goalie being in the crease is not the requirment it is if the player is in the crease and that powers is so that shoudn't have been a goal.
it is tough because it is the glove and I am not sure how much small toighes might change a lot for a glove. if he missed catching by centrimetres i would say yes, if it is beyond the area where his glove couod tough the puck without moving it no its ot.

No because Tarasovs glove is WAY out of the crease

Maple syrup is not a God
That’s a good goal

Yes goalie interference
Nope.
There is no goaltender interference
No interference cus the goalie was out of the crease
Good goal, he literally touched the guys stick, it’s his fsult
Its a good goal. Because its against the panthers
Definitely goalie interference

Goalie interference
No goal.
I don’t think it’s gonna change their season anyways
No goal
The panthers are just mad that even after they paid the refs they didn’t call that
No, because he doesn’t move the glove
No goalie interference for putting up his glove to catch it.
I mean you can see that the stick closes the glove when tarasov tries to catch it. No stick there and the glove stays open and he catches it
Average habs game
If he doesn’t touch the glove he makes the save. It’s that clear cut. It should have been interference.
Yes it was

He is way out of the crease it's a good goal
I can guarantee you that Owen Power did not cause goalie interference on that play.
i hate the panthers but this is goalie interference
I hate both teams but goalie interference goalie is in the crease
Haters gonna hate a back to back champions
Goalies glove was out of the crease
No goal
If that's goalie interference then we have lost the plot
Out of everyone complaining about officiating, the panthers? This is diabolical considering they’re the last ones who should be complaining
NO. GOAL.
😂😂😂😂 It's only goalie interference if that's your team that you're ruining to it😮 playoffs 🤣

It looked like the goalie just launched his arm toward his stick in hopes of the refs calling it "interference"
Nope. He's a mile outside the crease. In hindsight looks dumb to even challenge it.
That's hilarious, no goalie interference at all. His glove was way out of the crease and he barely touch the glove. 😂😂😂
outside the crease. no call
