Habs are the youngest team in the league. Yeah they'll probably get in the playoffs but aren't a true cup contender…..yet. Patience. We're ahead of schedule. Let Dobes and Monty play while Fowler keeps developing in Laval. Fowler and Dobes could be the long term answer. Don't give up any players or prospects for a veteran short term rental.

you people live in denial last night was not no 35's fault 2 penalties bad penalties cost that 2-0 lead .Nothing to do with experienced goaly there. as long as habs players keep taking bad penalties there is where the problem lies first. those 2 penalties were taken close one after the other causing a 5-3 power play for islanders.

Monty is awful, 5 games this year he has had over a 90 save percentage, that's beer league. Need to ride Dobes except for back to backs, Habs won't trade for a goalie IMO, Fowler is the future

Would have been great to keep Jake Allen. Although it's not all on Montembeault his body language l spoke volumes, at this point the net should be Dobes
1) Nobody cares about the Maple Leafs. Not even Maple Leafs fans.
2) The Fowler/Dobes tandem is the future for the Habs.
3) The only reason I can think of for which Monty might still be starting games is because of his sponsorship deals with the Habs and several vendors: IGA, McDonalds, Hyundai, Under Armour, Ro-Na, etc. if Monty had no sponsorship deals he would not be playing anymore.
Maybe the Habs can make a partial season offer to MA Fleury? Can't be worse lol…
They want Montembault to be the starter because he is Quebecois, I am from Montreal and love have to French players on the team but this isn't the guy , Dobes should be the starter and we should trade for a Goalie

Can't stand watching him lift his mask to drink water everytime he lets a goal in. Like he has worked so hard and needs to hydrate.
Either he puts Habs behind at the start, let's a goal in minute before the end of a period, or can't protect a lead.
