  1. Was at the game, sort of dull for most of it. Both teams playing not to lose instead of going for win.
Habs sloppy in our own end.

  2. WTH are the fans doing the 'wave' with half a period left in a one goal game.
Thought these were suppose to be the smartest fans in the league. 😅

  3. Not fair, Tampa, Detroit, and Buffalo are allowed to have large winning streaks, but not the Habs. I want to blame Monty though we had some good chances with breakaways but fumbled. Though I do think we need to either trade Monty or send him down to Laval for a long time. Consistently fumbles on clutch saves

  4. Dobson showed why he was traded away. On the wrong side of the puck in OT. He should know better.

  5. You weren’t the better team I watched every second of that game and you weren’t. You took bad penalties and it cost you the game so you weren’t the better team. The better team knows how to play disciplined hockey and your team did not you’re just trying to sell it because you have a podcast but you’re wrong 150% wrong. The better team won.

  6. These guys are horrible. They shouldn’t be allowed to have a podcast. They see everything only through habs colored glasses I remember last year they were talking about how great Reinbacher was, but the guy couldn’t stay healthy. He’s hurt again, but they keep lying trying to sell the abs. They shouldn’t have a podcast because they can’t tell the truth every other word out of Josh‘s mouth is a lie.

  7. At least locked on Canadians tries to be honest and say what they see good or bad.sabba and boisevert try and give a fair take. Josh lies too much and all he wants to do is hear himself talk.

  8. Slaf pathetic….msl has 2 pick different players when holding lead last 3 mins ….nick and cole not enough ice time…newhook and dach suck there rejects from other teams….

  9. Gosse and D’amico are the 2 worst bloggers in Canadian media simply because they’d rather lie than tell the truth

  10. If that’s true about Laine’s agent is doing the work to find a trade it pretty much means no one’s interested

  11. The Habs defend 6 against 5 like it’s a 5 against 3 power kill… I’m sick of it… need a defensive coach

  12. Better team ? They blew a 2 goal lead then gave up a late tying goal and a winner in OT!
Carrier was again a disaster trying to front Anders Lee!

  13. I'm not really sad to see him go since his addition was never really meant to be a purely hockey transaction. It is too bad of course that he's missed so much due to injury while trying to get his career back on track but if you found his love for the game again then I am happy for him. Unless he's signing this summer with the Leafs or the Bruins.

  14. Maybe it is time to attempt to trade Matheson and a prospect/draft choice for a strong defensive defenceman. We have enough scoring from our blue line to afford to lose a piece. Does Hughes think Reinbacher is the answer? If so, bring him up now.
Is Suzuki hurt? Doesn't seem himself for a while now.
I expect the Canadiens do not want to retain salary or an asset to move Laine. So he is untradeable. He will not play for the Habs again and maybe not for anyone this season. It is sad Laine is unable to garner "future considerations". It is not the end of an era, the era never was.

  15. I understand the frustration with Monty – we all long for the Carey Price days, but no team has a Carey Price nowadays. Last night he faced 26 shots. The best goalies in the league would save about 91-92% of those, call it 24 saves, 2 goals. I ask you, which 2 goals that Monty gave up were the 2 egregious goals that necessitate his being benched? Was the first goal – 5 on 3 short handed, Schaefer puts through our defense and legs? Or what about the second – 5 on 4 short handed (Matheson just back on the ice) where Schaefer puts it top shelf through a multiplayer screen? How about an overtime breakaway? One could maybe argue that their third goal – again through a big screen in front – could have been stopped…but then again Monty made several huge stops too that maybe could have got past the average goalie – like the third period 2 on 1. Maybe the problem is Monty, or maybe any goalie in the league would have given up 4 last night…. I’m not suggesting that every night is like this – he certainly has put up some stinkers – but lately he’s been much better and last night was at a minimum an average NHL goalie game, if not even better than average.

  16. What’s official? Of all the reporters in the league, Lebrun is the LEAST reliable ! He stinks….

  17. Better Team???? What a poorly plaid, out of synced, rusty group.. poor coordination, blind Slav passes, kerharhic puck chases, etc. No excuse as both teams were on their 1st fame back. Better sharpen them up Marty.

  18. Monty’s 48th gaa and 50th save%
Bury this man in the minors 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  19. I didn't like what I saw. There were one or two spells of pressure, that's not enough against an inferior team. They needed to make them buckle. In stead, Islanders dominated in intensity and, more importantly, they used the pick both on offense and on defence, basically preventing the Habs from playing either way. They weren't even allowed to forecheck, ffs. When under such a blanket of total interference, their talent makes no difference whatsoever. To beat these teams they need to learn to play the same, lousy, anti-hockey, pick, pick, pick, until the pressure forces the other team to concede goals or multiple power plays. But yesterday, the only talented Habs player who was a bit effectual (ab le to use his talent to some effect) was Hutson. All the others were neutralized. So talent doesn't count for shit against this style. Sorry to say. They need to dumb it down and beef it up.

  20. Yeah maybe we were the better team but montembault was ass like usual … it’s time Hughes trades him or waives him his goose is cooked !!! If Dobes doesn’t start our next game then maybe we need to start looking at the coach behind the bench !!! I don’t know why St-Louis always picks Monty over Dobes

  21. When Monty is in the net we play differently we try to protect him because of his sub par play that’s why we give up leads bring the rookie up and trade Monty a playoff run is not assured with Monty part of the tandem

  22. Habs do NOT have a number one goalie in Dobes or Monty. Nothing from Gally, Evans, Texier and Slaf had his worst game….he was a giveaway machine!

  23. Focused on laine? How about getting rid of a minor league goalie by the name of Montebault. When in nets habs have to score at least 4 goals. How many games does this guy have to screw his team before management does something? Trade him or demote him
Love hiw he lifts his mask after every goal he lets in and drinks water as if he worked hard and needs hydration
Pointless to watch a Habs game when he is in nets
