Exactly three weeks since their last NHL game, the Dallas Stars return to action tonight as they host the Seattle Kraken at American Airlines Center (7 p.m. CT). The Stars entered the Winter Olympic Break with a six-game winning streak and would love nothing more than to continue racking up points in the very competitive race for positions at the top of the Central Division. Dallas will be without the services of injured forwards Mikko Rantanen (lower body), Radek Faksa (upper body) and Roope Hintz (illness), but they will get defenseman Lian Bichsel back for the first time in three months, activated from LTIR today. The Kraken went 6-2-0 in their last eight games before the Break, helping them surge into third place in the Pacific Division. Seattle has a couple of game-time decisions, as forwards Ben Meyers and Berkly Catton have been on IR, but could return to action tonight in Dallas.
