Hi Seth, I have a serious question here: what do you think about trading for Connor Hellebuyck? He is a proven winner when he has a very good defense infront of him, as proven in the Olympics. Wallstedt is young and I feel Gustavsson isn't a clutch goalie in big games. Also, what assets would it take to get Hellebuyck in a Minnesota Wild jersey. Thank you.
Regarding OT: I was absolutely speechless watching McDavid, MacKinnon, and Makar all mess up so tremendously and give up the golden goal. They way that puck bounced around was crazy.
That OT goal was insane, but I don’t think people are talking enough about that Boldy goal. The way he tapped the puck up and over the sticks of his opps was pure art… not the same play at all, but it reminded me of that insane goal in the frozen four like 25 years ago. A Michigan player picked the puck up with his stick, from behind the net and wrapped it around and put it in the net to beat my Gophers. IMO that was the goal of the Olympics (Boldy’s).
Canada, go home in shame. You are nothing else but pathetic losers, cheaters and thugs. Go home, stay home and do the rest of the world a favour not showing your ugly faces to no one anymore. From a Swede, saluting fairness. / Micke P

Brock Faber was a name that was oh, oh, oh so close to going down in hockey immortality and absolutely nobody remembers why. Humans are weird in that they tend to only follow the narrative the media sets out for them. And Matt Boldy’s name seems like an afterthought. No Boldy, likely no gold medal.
