Buffalo Sabres on playoff COLLISION COURSE with the Montreal Canadiens

Out of the Olympic hockey break, the Buffalo Sabres are in great shape to make the playoffs, with a five point lead on the first teams out. Looking at the upcoming schedule, and playoff odds, there’s one potential playoff matchup that looks more likely for Buffalo than any other matchup. A meeting with the Montreal Canadiens. Will both teams continue playing well enough to play a fast, fun series in Round 1?

Plus, a look at the upcoming schedule, which features a lot of road games, against very good teams for the Sabres, making Wednesday against the Devils even more important to get two points out of. And with a rumor that Sergei Bobrovsky could be available for trade, should the Sabres look to acquire the veteran and take their goalie rotation from a three-man unit down to a two-man unit?

  1. Pretty sure they don't care about the politics, you get invited by the President to get a special trip to the White House. Why not go.

  2. Who cares man they won gold they go to the White House I don’t even like trump but who cares let them enjoy this it’s been 46 years. All the far left people are just crying about it.

  3. Even if it was Joe Biden, bush, Trump, idk Hillary. If the president invites you to honor what your teammates and you have done. You go! It's an honor, regardless of how you feel. Im not a fan of any of the political system but I sure as heck would go shake hands with the president and say wow, thank you Mr./Mrs. President! Thats being a professional, and respectful representative of your country.
