Utah – the rising star of the Central, imo. The TitanTeams in the Central will have their day but 'muh Mam's down der in Utah are one good hockey team – on their way to being very good.
Toffoli signed with the Sharks to be that veteran mentor but ALSO because his wife comes from the Monterey area (family less than an hour away). I wouldn't argue that they overpaid in AAV, but they gave an extra year or two because of those circumstances. It's turned out great so far; Toff and his wife are the "billet parents" for Michael Misa, much like Jumbo and Patty are doing the same for Mack and Smitty. Great all-in family vibe around the Sharks that's evident in how they're playing together. That can only help future recruitment efforts!
FYI, Celebrini went pointless in the Sharks last win.
