Did the better team win? When did people become so stupid? The better team ALWAYS wins. The better team is faster, smarter, quicker, stronger, makes less mistakes, takes advantage of mistakes, recovers from mistakes, is more fortunate, gets hot at the right time, manages the game better, wastes less time, is mentally stronger, etc, etc. These are things that make a team better. The team that does these things are the better team. Thus, the better team wins. When in the hell has the worse team ever won?

And blaming the refs, especially for a too many men is WILD. Canada probably had 10 too many men calls missed in every game leading up to that. Pretty pathetic, refs miss and make bad calls constantly. As an Avs fan, you should know that 😂
3-on-3 hockey is pure, unadulterated shit. It is a creation of the IIHF…another wacky idea, like the Olympic-sized ice surface, that has no basis in the reality of hockey or how the game is played. For overtimes, they may as well just put a 4×6 board with a four-inch slot cut out of the bottom, draw names of fans in attendance, and let them try to lock up the win while standing on a rubber mat at center ice and floating a 95-foot prayer down the ice. Fucking ridiculous.

the game of hockey is played 5v5 and when penalties occur the man-power numbers change such as 5v4, 4v4, 5v3, etc… this whole 3v3 thing is to accelerate regular season games for TV time slots… there is NO NEED for this in a gold medal game. Atrocious.
