I am not an Avs fan, but I fully expect Mackinnon to take his Olympics frustration out on NHL teams.

I'm seeing at least a Conference final appearance. Though, I do think Dallas could stop them again if Dallas makes it through Minnesota. Given how they have played all year, a 2nd round exit will be seen as a failure. They can't waste all that talent. This is their best shot since 2022. I hope they pull through.

Only other injury really worth mentioning, thankfully, is Logan O'Conner. But he has been out all year and I think mostly just Avs fans truly understand why he would get brought up
Nelson was looking like another terrible contract till mid Nov or something. Some then? Insane… best contract? He’s the best on the second line down. But Makar for 9 is insane… same with Mack for 12.5.. can’t believe he was playing for 6.5m just a year ago.
Rumor is mack is coming home injured and we start on a 5 in 7, we have a ton of division games coming up. We had half our forward core and our entire top pairing at the olympics… so it really wasnt much of a break for us. I hope we come out looking like the November/December avs but I also don't think its looking good. Hope MacK is healthy and comes back playing like angry MacK for the rest of the year.
