The no call on the too many man😢
What is this jersey???
I saw players on one team saying I’m going to do this all by myself.
And another team saying we’re going to do this together 🤷🏻♂️
Hughes's postgame interview, he thought Canada was the better team. These brothers are humble, but terrific.
Canada had many more shots, this was an imbalance.
USA brought a heavier team, with more potential for physical play. Canada brought three players in their late 30's at the end of their careers.
Nathan M. missed a lot of open net, on what typically would be a sure thing.
I believe he was off his game and potentially even concussed from the head shot from France.
usa feels sorry maybe the rest of the nhl will lets the canadians win the stanley cup
coach lets talk about the elephant in the room. i think you touched on this a time or two, the usa is training there kids the right way , Canada is falling behind.. just think football basketball & baseball is king in usa , when those athletes transition to hockey watchout… but usa out populates canada 9-1 think about that
I wasn't able to watch the game… but from the different clips of the game I did see, it did seem like Canada played less like a team and had more individual efforts. I heard in many places the expression McDavid was trying to force his Crosby moment and I can't disagree too much with that.
Im just so happy Nick, Alex and Juraj came back healthy…good game and so much talent on show ! Thanks for video !😊
My son said after the game " Maybe they should live with others in a olympic village" and you have to know that he was after team Canada all tournament long. As for me maybe they put too much expectations (maybe some political issues in the background) themselves and their's heads didn't manage. Sad but life goes on .For me as a hockey fan the game was on cosmic level and i thaks for the opportunity to see such a battle.
Hello Mr. Coach Talk…
Laval Report…Saw both Utica games Sat and Sun. There were quite a few Habs fans there and even had an "Ole" going after the first game! Fowler is sick so Kahkonen was our goalie for both games, with Jones the backup. I got to see Reinbacher for the first time and loved it! Nothing brilliant, but overall solid play. Saturday they won in shootout, but Sunday they were dominating until discipline broke down. Simoneau lost his mind and started it with a slash and punch that landed a double minor and a game misconduct. The Rocket were not manhandled (shots were like 20-5 after the second period), but lost the game themselves through undisciplined play, and Utica got three goals on the power play. It was embarrassing only because of the bad discipline! (But there was no "donneybrook" as the highlight hype suggested, just a few scrums.) PS…I did see the man-to-man and even showed my friend saying watch him follow his guy! 😀 Also, some idiot was putting the US flag right in front of me Sunday when I was trying to watch the Rocket warmup..which leads into…
Olympics….I am sorry, but it is politicized whether we like it or not. This is why I preferred Slovakia to the two countries i identify with (US and Canada, in that order). I can't stand the Tkachuks and I know Trump will invite them to the White House and they will kiss his ass in front of everyone. On the other side, Canadians have not been so good toward Americans since Trump started again, which saddens me. They cannot seem to understand that a lot of Americans don't like Trump or his policies toward Canada. So in my opinion, it is bad for the entire world that the US and Canada were in the gold medal round. It is all just a bunch of propaganda and a cash grab, and I had had enough of it with Four Nations. It is only getting worse. The two countries NEED each other. Just because the US currently has a short-sighted, selfish president doesn't mean that they should act the same way. I have no care about the Olympics or international mens hockey, esp. when players from the NHL I cannot stand already play on both US and Canadian team. Tom Wilson is Canada's representative? Come on. And the Tkachuks or Auston Mathews? Embarrassing. I did not like it at all. :/ I only want to see the NHL players on their NHL teams.
Like I said, I enjoyed watching Hutson and Demidov working over the break. Those two are so inspiring and adorable. They look like kids but they are so talented and accomplished already…and the way they work they will only get better!!! I love them!!! I am so ready for the Canadiens to start again!
Hellebuyck was excellent. Binnington too. The game was as close as one can get. The better team that day won. Congrats to the US, it was their first gold since 1980 and they deserved it
I cannot figure out for the life of me why the team with highest offensive skill level, the highest hockey IQ would play the 3 on 3 OT and generate highly individual plays. 3 separate individual rushes!?!? Try to drive all alone through 2D and then you got to beat a very hot Connor Hellyubuck. Really?
As Habs fans we've watched more OTs than most. We've seen both good and bad. It works best when they dominate possession and cycle until an opportunity can be created. Why wouldn't the worlds most talented players not work together to turn the opposition inside out? Why??
I'm sorry, but McDavid was taken out of the play completely, and as a result was the odd man rush going back that won the game. I'm not trying to be a negative Nellie – It was a great game with nothing to be ashamed of. However…
