I hope his recovery goes well and returns to his pre-injury skill and fitness. While I don't believe he is the key to us returning to Stanley Cup contention, he does treat Kings fans as if they are royalty and appears to genuinely be a very nice person.
Each major injury changes the way you play. In case of Fiala, his injury might change his style and force him to pass more often and not hold on to the puck with his soccer moves
What a guy Paul is. Very articulate and intelligent guy. Great to have him on
Deep dive by Eddie, lol. Love it!!!
Thank you Dr Paul, for your insight and for being a long-time Kings fan. My first game was '74, so I've seen a bunch of highs along with the lows, but we never give up. I like Holland. I didn't understand why he let Gavi walk, but then I realized he had a plan. Now we have Panarin, and we are pushing for Petterson, Portillo, and George, who are coming along nicely. I like Hiller's plan; that's how we win, with the right players in place. That's how we win the CUP. GO KINGS GO.
Tom Wilson is a piece of Gooner. I think He intentionally targeted Kevin for the clean hit Kevin laid Him out with in Washington.
Dr. Paul and I were watching LA Kings on weeknights on KTLA Channel 5, with Jiggs McDonald. Culver Ice Rink rocks. Quite close to HOF diner, Dinah's for fried chicken.
My opinion: hockey is the most brutal sport in the world. Every square in on the body is vulnerable. Just a little bit rougher than football. Most football players have their teeth; can't say the same about hockey. Another difference between the two is what I read in Dryden's book, Game Change, he noted that after football players finish playing, they hate football, while after hockey players hang up their skates, they still love the game.
Eddie: I think you gotta continue to have him as a guest.
Culver City Ice Arena is now a Harbor Freight
