   it's nice to see other fanbases recognize how good Slafkovský has been. he's been amazing since mid-fall… like it's frustrating how ppl are acting how he's just an Olympic merchant

   Biggest improvements Imo.
   -quicker release (he has a heavy shot and accurate but constantly would take too long to release the puck leading to deflections, and missing the net)
   -Transition game is leaps and bounds from last year. Since moving down to line 2 he has carried the puck into the neutral zone the 2nd most on the team, allows him to create way more of the rush

   Overall he is becoming a play driver on his own line instead of being a pure puck retriever, forchecker for Suzuki and Caufield. Looks a lot like the draft year Slaf that got him the Rantanen or Jagr lyte comparisons

   I think because of Celebrini and Schaefer and Bedard, the view now of 1st overall picks has changed to you have to be GENERATIONAL or you’re a bust. Slaffy Taffy is a very good power forward who will probably be 30-40 for his career, just won’t reach the levels of Bedsy, or Celly, or Schaefer.

    I find Slaf does his best work along the boards, he is so strong on the puck, and that's insanely helpful on zone entries, and when u do dump it in, u know if it's Slaf against one other player, Slaf is coming out with the puck in most instances. I hope Slaf gets the hatty tomorrow afternoon against the US!!! Go Canada Go!!!

    Slaf was the first of many great decisions by Montreals then new management team. I see him as a 35-55 guy in his prime. The points won’t ever tell the whole story. An absolute monster.

    Start looking at those things how many points have his teammates hie many goals montreal scored . How many of them (%) is Slafgoalsky . Minutes played since season start . Montreal becoming day by day stronger better . But its different when the whole team play at top performance . Players like Slaf and Demidov are generational talents but you couldnt fully see it in his first 1-2years cause of a rebuilding team . But imagine those players were put into line with Mcdavid Oilers or Florida Panters , it would be a different story . Look at Jagr he is very similar to Slaf but his first 2seasons starts with line with Lemieux win stenley cups . But overaly pretty similar playstyle . Slaf is good at growing every year he able to imrpove ALOT . Not many players are like this . No injuries , able to adapt , able to learn from match to match and improve . Slaf could be most likely top 5 NHL players in 2-3years .
