I am pretty sure Canada will win but hoping that it is a great game.
All 8 AVS have scored at least 1 goal,& all 5 of their countries into the quarterfinals. Necas vs McKinnon,Makar,& Toewes…Brock Nelson vs Landyskog…& Lehkonen/Kryvanta vs no AVS. 1st of all-NOBODY GET HURT! 2ndly-NOBODY GET HURT! Then I love ya Landy but hopefully Brock & USA give ya lil more time off. I predicted Canada gold (as much as I hope it's USA) USA silver,& Sweden bronze before the tournament. That can't happen now,& Sweden vs USA is gonna be a war. At least 1 of 3 teams with all NHL players isnt even gonna play for a medal. Granted Finland is damn near all NHL guys. But now id say Makar,McKinnon,& Toewes still win gold,Nelson still wins silver but Lechy,& Kryvanta bring back bronze.
Landyskog,(the 1 Av who already has Olympic medal-silver from 2014)& Necas-you get a few extra days of rest-lol. But tomorrow I like Canada,Finland,USA,& Germany. Set up a Canada-Germany & USA-Finland semi before USA-Canada for gold. With the reseeding after tomorrow (but not for the quarters)-gives Canada a significantly "easier"path than USA. Sweden,& Finland is much tougher path than Czechnia,& Germany by my predictions.Of course if Sweden beats the US-Canada-Sweden would be a phenomenal semi,& Finland could draw the "easier" matchup. But should be a lot of fun,& MOST IMPORTANT IS NO AVS GET HURT! GO USA!
