The Toronto Maple Leafs get healthier as they prep for their post-Olympic-break schedule. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti explore whether the San Jose Sharks are the perfect trade partner for a major shakeup. With Chris Tanev’s groin injury status unclear and Dakota Joshua’s kidney recovery ongoing, the Maple Leafs face tough decisions as they approach the stretch run.
The hosts provide an Olympic hockey update—including reaction to Canada’s medal chase and William Nylander’s highlight-reel goal, which sets up a showdown against Auston Matthews.

Willy and Auston facing off, can't wait to see it
Auston is probably choking, Willy is going to score 🇸🇪💙
Being how desperate The Oilers are, I can easily see a way for da Buds to unload Rielly's contract attached to Bobby Mac.
We gotta stop with the idea of trading Stolly. The NHL is becoming a 3 goalie league. Between injuries and slumps, we can't afford to hope hildeby and woll can carry the load.
Reilly is one of the best forwards on the team. The worst defenseman. Come on guys he on the ice for 9 more goals than any other player in the league this year. Its a 💩 ton easier to win games when the guy that causes 2 goals against a game is not there.
The Only time I’ll cheer for William Bystander, Go Sweden. Luv the Reilly trade proposal. He can take his career -40 to San Jose.
So, been watching Rielly all year, he's very hard to watch. Do you know who's been watching him also? I am sure that in a market like Toronto, every GM in this league knows about the struggles of this 7.5 million dollar man. Why would you give anything of value for such a train wreck? He was a better defenseman at one point but he's never been a number 1, never, I don't care what that blowhard Brian Burke says, lol. We haven't had a bonafide no.1 defenseman in years. We've never had a Norris trophy winner. The deal would half decent make sense if Rielly was playing like a top 4, he's playing like a press box ranger. Stolarz just came back from an injury, winning one solid game against shaky teams doesn't mean he's in the vezina discussion. I think Rielly is simply washed up, he's a step slower, he can't hit, he's never had a shot. That contract is an albatross…
If the sharks take Reilly they will absolutely need stolarz.
