You gotta resign arvidsson if you can get him around 5 million for 2-3 years. He’s great depth and experience for this team. You gotta dangle zacha, Lohrei, middlestadt,peeke, and swayman (I wish lol). I would only throw in picks for top players if they come in the likes of a Robert Thomas or a Jordan Kyrou, or a Brady tkachuk. The team as built is actually very good. We just need some centre depth and nothing special at center, even a trochek would help big time. And one more absolute stud scoring winger to help relieve pasta. The centre that can do both would be Brady tkachuk from Ottawa. We are definitely headed in the right direction. Just need a few tweets and we can be dangerous. Right now, I see us a tough out in the first round, with the ability to maybe steal a round if taken lightly. But not a contender yet. I truly would have loved for Boston to swing for the fences and bring zibenejad and panarin from the rangers. That would have filled both our issues and made us an instant cup contender for the next 2-3 years. And then we have the young prospects to come up from there. We are wasting away pasta’s prime and that would be a shame. That’s the only reason why I would have done that danger deal this year. Imagine pasta with panarin and mika added to our center depth?! Daaaaaaamn!
The Bruins nee to trade Middlestadt get rid of his salary. He is way over paid for what he brings to the table.
I would move him. Decent player, but as you said, injury prone. You brought in Marco to coach young players, the Bruins have many interesting young men in the system and college. They can't have their road blocked by a middle six older guy who may not give as much over the next several years if he gets resigned.
Trade Sweeney instead.

If they can get a one or a two or a good prospect then yes. if it’s a three or lower, then keep them and make a run
They need the scoring Arvidsson provides sure they could get a haul for him but is it worth it especially if they make the playoffs ?
I applaud your ability to tank this season on the cusp of making the playoffs for the sake of the future. The eye test tells us he is driving that line. The playoff aspirations are basically toast if he's traded.
