Love these breakdowns. Lot of fans and commentators saying Voronkov should've let him get set. Hopefully hearing from the real fighters from the past puts that stuff to bed. I think Dillon is okay, he came back for some of the game but was later held out as a precaution. Tough to see that on his 1000th game with his family likely in the crowd. Dillon knows how it goes and is an experienced fighter, would be surprised if he had any issues with how that happened
I understand Sheldon Keefe defending his players; however, both NJ fights that didn’t go well (Jonas Siegenthaler getting a game mosconduct) were due to them engaging their opponents. Don’t want to fight? Don’t engage, or if anything tackle your man to subdue.

The Blue Jackets were dropping their gloves quickly. Even the commentator was saying that the Devils have to be ready to fight.

Dillon has hurt a lot of guys throughout his career. Even if he did get "jumped" here it was a long time coming.
