Agreed 💯, I also think he's gonna be a pretty underrated player for most of his career. He may not be the best at anything, but he'll be a complete player. That's not a down side, you need players such as those.
Gridin is becoming one of favorite players
Matvei is highly talented. Dont judge his numbers this year this kids a good center away from being a consistent 30 goal scorer.
Gridin will be fine, he's a player. Will score goals as well. Keep him before Farabe , Huberdeau and others.
No Disrespect but you guys think that his ceiling is 60-65 points from what I am hearing? Considering how well he Has produced with the minimal offensive talent he has to play with I think Gridin could be a point per game player at least one year during his career IMO. If and when we get a next Gen Offensive talent he is gonna be feed Gridin so much early on. I cannot believe calgary found this kid because in 5 years teams will be pissed they passed on him.
