Coxy for sure….that being said Oscar is the future and it would be good to see him have a run. But against the kittens the safe inclusion would have to be the Yank.

We did missed Darcy Moore last week in defence.

Has to be Coxy, Swoop. He can support Cameron in the ruck and provide a target in the forward line. That's all he needs to do. Make a contest and free up Membrey , Mihocek and Billy Elliott to do their thing.
I would like to see how Oscar Steene would go . Sometimes they really rise to the occasion. If he is playing well , why not . Don't like the idea of leaving it all on Dc. Also can't wait till you get the explanation of what happens with McStays knee.

For me, it's Cox in this week, with Moore rested further and brought in fresh after bye. West will get a run later in the season as a replacement for injured or rested player.

Is there a future for Steene and Smit in the AFL team? I think both are talented.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, when Cox plays we don’t lose. Period. It doesn’t matter if he has zero touches for the game. He is critical to our structure. Our late season resurgence last year coincided directly with Cox returning from a long injury absence. When he plays we don’t lose.
Give west and or steene a go against the lower teams
I really don't understand why Mason Cox is not an automatic selection in our side. He is a gun tap Ruckman with great follow up to his ruck work with his ground ball efforts and intuitive smarts with a hand in here or a tap there. This guy and Darcy Cameron are a dream combination. My selection would be Cox, Mihochek and Membrey and with our small forwards Jamie Elliot, Bobby Hill, Will Hoskin Elliot and Lachie Schulz, allowing more mid field time for the likes of Beau McCreery and Jordy DeGoey, taking the pressure off Nick and Josh Daicos, Pendles, Sidey and Crispy.
Wowwww what a gun group, without a mention of Long, Sullivan, Lipinski, and the long-awaited return of Mitchell. Isaac Quaynor is also a gun who has a huge upside.
My key point here is that Mason Cox when fit should be an automatic inclusion in our team.
West seems a great pick up swooper i would like to see Oscar play because he likes to kick a goal too

Personally not a fan of the 2nd ruck perspective, feel like a 2nd ruck needs to be able to go forward and kick goals and Cox just lacks that big time. Would much rather them take a swing on West and just rotate West, Mihocek, Membrey and the occasional Long with Darcy and just spread the load.
As much as I’d like to see Charlie West or Oscar Steene play, experience matters, even at this time of year, Mason cox is the guy that we should play to replace Dan Mcstay, he’s been proven to do the job many times in the past, and he’s a premiership player too.
Mason gets first crack until either Mcstay gets back or if Cox gets injured or suspended.
The big question for me is who is the sub. Moore and Cox in, Sully and WHE out. Can't think who gets pushed to sub. Lipinski maybe? Perryman? Does Ellliot get managed? Membrey even?
Coxy 100%. Best support for Darcy and he always has two or three defenders on him which frees up our small forwards to get those ground balls he knocks down.
Charlie West reminds me a bit of a young Jonathan brown. Having said that, I'd still bring Cox in this week and let west continue to develop in the VFL
