  1. Goal shouldn’t count or the league should change the rules.
Explain why the league can review this play and call Down and call it a goal. But other goals are for aren’t allowed. Ie off sides.
Make all goals or possible goals reviewed no matter what

  2. Of course the NHL did this. It's Boston.

In over 58 years of hockey, never seen this. I've seen goals go in, not get called and buzzer goes. We just move on. This is some serious bs with the NHL.

  3. This is massively bazaar. The teams went back to the locker rooms. I would say they had enough times to call.
I might have to agree with Flyers on their call. Refs are betting on the games

  4. So this is in 1080p but the rest of the highlights today are 720p…. make it make sense NHL ???

  5. That's technically not between periods. That's an "oopsie, just kidding, the first period isn't over yet."

  6. If the Rangers scored before the period ended the first time, would they have waived the Rangers goal and awarded the Bruins goal and still bring the time back, or does it get messier if another goal is scored?

  7. I'm very much new to hockey, but wouldn't the good goal end the power play? Why did the power play continue after the goal was awarded?

  8. On one hand, this is really interesting to see play out. On the other hand, it makes Boston sports fans happy which is something we should never be rooting for as a civilized society.

  9. You can hear the gears going off in the announcers head on the replay; “Oh ship, that’s a goal. Do I say anything?”

  10. I remember a goal that Carolina had against the Blue Jackets, Tortorella challenged offsides and the refs missed the call from Toronto (during COVID games) so the Bluejackets had to kill a penalty off for unsuccessful challenge. At start of third they removed the Jackets penalty indicating they were correct it was offsides but the goal stood. Also, Jackets lost the one goal game.
