The Canadiens have to many d players. Engstrom is knocking at the door. If it's 1 vs 1 Kyrou vs Guhle, I say go for it.
I think the Canadiens is a better team with Kyrou and Engstrom than with Guhle, who I really like.
My major red flag about Kyrou is that he was a healthy scratch earlier this year… which team would healthy scratch an excellent player? At this point, habs shouldn't 'settle' for players to patch holes, if they trade, it is for perfect fit types of players (e.g. Dobson that added elite talent on the Right side)
While Kyrou's definetly not old, I still prefer the team continues building the core around the Demidov/Slaf/Hutson age group so that we can have a great team for the next 12 years.
My only green flag about Kyrou is that he is by far the best Blues in terms of xGoals% when he's on the ice… but since I don't watch his matches, I can't say more.
Guhre is too soft around his own net ,walking pylon and the blues won't go for that ,kyrou is having a down year and most likely will end up in Washington or Buffalo and Montreal don't want him going to Buffalo
I'd definitely prefer Kyrou to Kadri.
Slaf and suzy lookin good in the olympic. I wish we could always have Hagel with suzuki and caufield. 😂 what a player
I could see Montreal going after Kyrou at or before the trade deadline. They really wanted him during the summer. Kyrou is only 27, Not an overly physical guy but has size at 6'1 200lbs. He's a speedy guy. The guy can score goals and put up points. He's having an off year at a 50 point pace but in his 4 previous seasons he put up at least 67pts and 3 of the seasons scored atleast 30 goals and 70+ pts. The Blues really wanted Reinbacher
blues fans hate goal scorers and love love grinders .. grinder fetish in stl … who cares about scoring we need corner grinders and enforcers in saint louis
kyrou & thomas stay. try to move others fir drft picjs & build defence Like move schen & faulk. . Buchy is such a bad contract
Honestly I’d be interested in dvorsky if I’m talking to the blues. Especially if we are giving up hage in a package for kyrou. Probably too rich for either team to make this happen tho.
