Stu makes a lot of clutch saves, and people seem to forget that. Nobody is perfect and I think he's a class act.

Any team that can play sound defensive hockey (including above average back-checking forwards who are also adept at scoring, solid defensemen who can breakup plays, pinch when necessary and clear their zone combined with some key saves from their goaltender), should always be contenders for the Stanley Cup. So, in other words, there must always be a collective and determined effort from everyone involved instead of just relying on the goaltender to win games.

I’m a big Skinner fan and he’s rational enough to know he’s not at fault for the team’s losses. I hope the team pulls it together before they do something detrimental to the team. I’d like to see them bring in a legit 1A goalie to help the team and push Stu. He’s only hearing from the vocal minority. The majority of us are behind Skins but the team is still #1.
I don't want him gone, I want him to stay and develop. He wasn't meant to be our starter, he was thrust into that position when he really should have been left in the oven to bake a little longer. It's not fair to him to place all the blame on him when we barely can break out of our own zone.

I am a lifelong Oilers fan. I have never wanted Skinner gone, I just want the guys to play well in front of him and for him to make a big save a couple times a game. Team defence has been atrocious, that’s the real problem

Brought up to NHL fr AHL to backup Jack Campbell, he w the 5yr $5M contract. 2 months later Rookie Stu is the starter on that 'Cup on Bust' team, in his hometown no less.
