Wilson seemed to scoot away pretty quickly after dumping Gatorade on Sourdif’s head.
Love this kid!! Sourdi is a real diamond in the rough, kudos to the Caps scouting. I thought a 2nd and a 6th (how many 6th rounders make it out of the minors?) was an indicator that FL wasn't fleecing the Caps but that they thought highly of Sourdif as well. Thus the addition of another pick to acquire him. The kid seems to have been NHL ready….his speed on the breakouts was the first thing I noticed about him, the poise when under duress from an aggressive forecheck. He can create his own shot, he's not afraid to call his own number and shoot. Too often the Caps tend to over pass, I think Sourdi keeps it simple and just fires it on net. Definitely, let's see Lenny-Sourdi-CMac line again!!!! Let's see what they really got in that line! LGC!!!!!!!
