  1. Slafkovsky for sure. And hopefully Suzuki can get the respect he deserves around the league, not sure what line hes on tho so impaact could be limited by roll the team has in mind

  2. I don't believe Reinbacher will ever be on the Habs full time. He will either be a trade piece, or he'll spend the next hundred years in Laval.

  3. None wil shine MTL players work for MTL they are stil not in the upper tier.IMO MTL's strength has always been trhe defense whiel getting incredibly lucky timely goals.
INJURIES are a poor excuse as I pointed out a few years back when MTL set records or injuries their AHL playewrs came up and did BETTER than the regulars were doing.
Those MTL cup winners were yes a DEEP team but again their defense was under rated and not just defense they had several forwards who were th erbest 2 way forwards in the game keane Skrudland Carboneau Muller etc etc.
Engstrom is a very under rated D man he is very smart plays with his head up he just doesn't have the flash that gets players noticed and he doesn't have the big canno nshot nor is he overly aggressive/tough but he is solid.
The reason some D "appear" to take years to develop is becuase of their surrounding cast one good smart D does not work if the team has a poor structure and the forwards have no clue how to play 2 way hockey …PROPERLY.IDC one bit abotu forwards coming back they need to come back with a purpose.

  4. "Take Arber out"….I said last year I would convert him to a winger get him to cause havoc in front of goalies. He has a great shot and shoudl be tough to handle in front of the net.As for Reinbacher he is a bnit tougher than Engstrom better on the boards but his skating is slowish his foot speed is similar to Arber.I would have never drafted Reinbacher and right now if people THINK he is so good so valuable try and trade him and get something good in return like a first round pick next year so we have a shot at Dupont.

  5. Thanks Trump could take straw bowls place any day of the week and carry as well. I believe those two will be gone in the summer for sure. Rebel does not do anything special. He’s average carry is too small. Montreal needs to get tough on defense.

  6. Shaun really has Xhekaj on the brain lol seriously, this conversation around the 6/7 dman is really moot. Who cares? People love Xhekaj, if he steps up and plays well he plays, if he doesn't he won't play and likely get traded in the off season. I would trade Carrier+Reinbacher before Xhekaj but that's just me.
