A 38-Year-Old Sidney Crosby is Making HOCKEY HISTORY

If you look at the history of the NHL, the age curve is usually pretty predictable. You peak around 27, you start to decline at 29, and by 32, the league is usually done with you. But then… there’s one player who stands apart. That player is Sidney Crosby in 2026. What he is doing at 38 years old is beyond absurd.

  1. Nothing about his misdiagnosis and discovery that his "concussion symptoms" were actually caused by a neck injury? This was a big deal and really shed light on that type of injury around the hockey world.

  2. 2:30 let's be clear here. Jagr is sitting at #2 all time and nowhere near breathing down Gretzky's neck.

Let's say Sid averages a point per game over the next 2.5 seasons and reaches 1922 pts at 40 years old.

He'd still have to continue averaging 93.5 points in an 82 game season over the next 10 years to "tie" Gretzky….at 50 years old.

  3. now we get ai + a graph that says nothing and is meaningless. "here is crosby" on this graph w no other names on it. players decline at age 29??? the average Dman is at his peak at age 28-29, fk this stupid ai bs

  4. Tip get out of game as ya can tipping point clima will start bring down planes enjoy life science stop flying 😯

  5. Clima ive become death destroyer of worlds love of $ got us here cant eat green backs😯

  6. Watched a few minutes of Crosby 600. The kid was amazing. He was a combination of Macklin Celebrini and Conar Bedard rolled into one. When Crosby was wiping tears from his face during the commemoration of the 10 year anniversary of the Penguin's 2016 Stanley cup victory, so was I.

  7. His puck protection and edge work is elite, but don’t forget his backhand and hand-eye coordination.

  8. I've watched 80-90% of all those games from those clips shown in this video because I've been obsessed with Sid ever since I've seen him on a CBC news report when he was about 11-12 years old, talking about him being the next great one. I buy the NHL center ice package every year JUST for Penguin games. He is the GOAT.

  9. 3 cups – youngest captain to win a cup. 2 back to back.

    youngest Art ross winner ever.

back-to-back Conn Smythe winner (there's only been 2 others)

has has mid-level linemates his whole career (dupuis, kunitz, hornqvist, etc.)

lost 100+ games to injuries at the peak of his career

2 gold medals including the "golden goal". captain for Team Canada twice (should of been 3 times now)

20 years of point-per-game, best all time.

  10. I just hope he won't start stuttering at 48 year old from those concussions. But yes, what an athlete. No weakness in his play, very humble, hard working, fantastic captain and teammate. A real winner.

  11. What a player, can easily appreciate Sid The Kid now that the rivalry is soon coming to an end with the Caps. The most complete hockey player and the best leader the game has ever seen. He deserves another hockey olympic gold.

  12. Sidney Crosby is pure greatness.

That doesn't change the fact that the only player who ever "breathed down Gretzky's back" was Mario Lemieux.

  13. As an American Pens fan, I'll never forget watching Sid score the Gold Medal goal in OT over the US. It gave me chills, couldn't have lost to a better man.

  14. Spoke too early buddy. 4pts in last 8 games where the team score 38 goals. Only 3 assists on those 37 goals. 8 Games slump. Every team knows how to handle him now.

  15. 5:56 He became the penguins all time leading scorer exactly 20yrs TO THE DAY that he passed the puck to Lemieux and assist him scoring his final goal in a penguins jersey

  16. I'd hate to see him wearing a different uniform but I really think he should be moved to a contender. Him winning somewhere else would cement his legacy even more.

  17. Could you add players like nathan mckinnon, connor mc jesus, ovechkin there, teemu selanne and actually, every player active atm who is on a way to destroy sids records. The graph would look a lot more different without sidney goggles.

  18. went to 7 playoff games in pittsburgh the year the beat the sharks in the cup, almost got fired for calling off but hey Crosby is the best player to play the game in my opinion
