  1. My god you announcers are terrible this is Canada if Connor can’t play with people it’s a personal problem no one else had a problem . But this is not an Edmonton team it’s team Canada and the coach picked what he liked

  2. I’d have taken Hyman over Jarvis, but would’ve also taken Geekie over Jarvis too. Not a big name, but he’s having a great year, has something like 35 goals already, puts him on pace for 40-50 goals…🤯

  3. I don't understand how Craig Button doesn't understand that anyone who pays with McDavid will get better. You don't need his Edmonton lineup for chemistry lol.

  4. Seth Jarvis is a worthy choice , Canada is so deep with talent that we could field two teams , very tough job selecting one awesome player over another awesome player. I think the scouts and coaches and managers have done an excellent job, and I know Zach Hyman will be rooting for the guys to bring home gold.

  5. You can't please anyone in Canada period, love the emotion from Jarvis, means the world to him. Go Jets Go, Go Czech Go.

  6. Whats Canada have against Scheifele…
Jarvis is from Winnipeg happy for him but jets fans know Scheifele should be on team over him and debatably Stone.

  7. A month ago Buttons said McKinnon was the best hockey in the world with 30 points ahead of McDavid and Kucherov ….McDavid has surpassed McKinnon and Kucherov will also end the year with more points than McKinnon….Buttons is not God…Hyman without McDavid is a ordinary player …Bedard with McDavid would be the perfect duo

  8. This is like a Sophie's Choice for hockey. Jarvis, Hyman and Scheifele are all outstanding players. Top notch. I would love to see Scheif on Team Canada. But I have to agree with Button. They need instant chemistry for this team to work. McD and Hyman have that chemistry. Maybe things will click with Jarvis. I have no idea. But this was a strange decision. GO CANADA GO!

  9. Hyman deserves a spot. He is a workhorse who never takes a shift off. He can seamlessly fit in on any role,1st line to fourth

  10. Thats because Hyman plays for a Canadian team. You guys find it impossible to consider a US based team being relevant

  11. Let's face it – hockey canada is always run by an old guard with a dinosaur mentality. Same old vets – no capaicty for critical thinking. canada won the 4 natiosn .. but there were only really two solid teams in that tounrey – Canada and the US .. and the US, without arguably their best player in Hughes was the better team over two games. Canada got an unreal game from Binnington and an Ot goal .. to get the win. But they were outplayed .. largely cause they couldnt score … and ofc, Canada focuses on bringing "responsible" guys over guys who can score. You don;t need a 3rd line in the Olympics … you need 3 1st line and two way second line. that's it … when you have the best group of players you pick a squad that puts relentless pressure on the opposition. Stupid … Canada is just lucky the Guerin is cut form the same cloth and picked a much weaker US team than they shoulda had.

  12. Looking at the pieces we gave away to try to make the 3 children competable, I could cry.

They both could be Leafs.. Instead we are stuck with 2 of those 3 bums… And this sorry ass of an excuse captain will walk for nothing, because Dubas effed us for a decade with his BS NMC…
