  1. I love your videos THG, thank you so much for the daily vids. I say that so you know this comes from a place of love.

    It’s pronounced Moo-kah-mah-duel-in

At least that’s how Randy Han and Dan rubanosky pronounce it

  2. I don't understand why Zamula thinks he has so much leverage. He's completely unproven in the NHL, but he thinks he's too good for the AHL.

  3. A "nice third-pairing defenseman" is certainly something the Jackets need, as Christiansen has been playing so far below expectations that they signed Smith, a guy they passed on at training camp. He hasn't been good, either. Fabbro got his money and landed himself on third pair where he honestly hasn't even been playing up to that standard.

Personally, like a lot of Columbus's problems this year, the third pair troubles are probably down to the coaching and/or the systems in place.

  4. This season has been pathetic for the Rangers. If they don’t realize it’s a wasted season and it’s time to sell. Drury is just so bad and then you have Dolan giving him the vote of confidence 😂. It takes time 😂😂 how much time ? They did a rebuild and then rushed it. It’s time to sell off and get younger

  5. Its time for the Rangers to start the rebuild, this is a roster that is not capable of winning games, they are 19-4-5 this season when they score 2 or more goals and their record as a whole is 20-18-6, they literally cannot score more than 1 goal in just under half of their games

  6. Hampus has been awful this season. Ever since he got that injury he’s not been the same player. Ever since he got hit by svechnikov he hasn’t been the same

  7. Hated to see Igor go down like that, brutal… 😔 Also agreed that Kesselring has had a terrible time with the injury carousel, he was just starting to look like he was getting his feet and then BAM 💥

  8. Bedard was never even considered for the Olympic team because he denied Canada's invitation to play at the World Championships. The politics these teams go through is insane.

  9. I had seen Bedard saying he was disappointed he wasn't asked to be on Team Canada. I hadn't seen anywhere quoting him as saying it was a "slight" or a snub, as you claim he said. And, no, they don't always take the "best" players since Bedard was one of the top scorers up until he was injured and since only a handful of the top scorers were Canadian, he was certainly one of the "best" Canadian players up until he was injured. So, not really correct on that count either. Even if they only took the 10 top scoring Canadians at that point and a few others who were more defensive forwards, Bedard would have had to be included. But "best" isn't really the main things they consider when choosing the Olympic Teams or there would be no surprises on the day they announce the teams, right? If it was transparently the "best" we would all know who was going to get picked based on who had the best stats, mainly scoring but also some other factors, and there wouldn't be much to discuss. In any event, since the Blackhawks play through Feb 4th (not the 5th as some teams do) and come back on Feb 26th (not the 25th, as some teams do), the Blackhawks will have a full three weeks to nurse nagging aches and pains then come into the final 25 games healthy and ready. I doubt many players in the Olympics will get injured since it is less rough and tumble than the Four Nations was last year. Sure, just playing in those games risks some injuries, and anyone playing will be more banged up then anyone not playing, so there is that. We'll see.

  10. I can only imagine what Bedard would look like on a line with McDavid, with the give and go moves turning defenders inside out, instead of McDavid dragging around Stone like a boat anchor like he did in the 4Nations tournament.

  11. Hey Shannon,

I've seen four penalty shots in the last two nights, two in one game. It's the first time I've seen penalty shots in a couple years, I'm sure they've happened and I just haven't seen them.

Any chance you could talk about how they call penalty shots? What? What can a defender do or not do to defend a shot that would prevent a penalty shot.

  12. Didn't Fedotov land in Columbus? Maybe that gives Zamula a friendly face in the area to make that signing a little better along with the better shot at ice time.

  13. Bedard has improved every aspect of his game this year, its been somewhat remarkable, checking, skating, face offs, basically every area where he was weak. hes a plus player by quite a bit, however much stock you put in that stat. Anybody labeling him as one dimensional just has not been paying attention.
