The Canucks have hit rock bottom

Quinn Hughes has been traded to the Minnesota WILD! Now that’s wild! We break down this absolutely diabolical trade in today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. I fear Quinn Hughes is undervalued by some. Genuinely good defensively and possibly the best in the world offensively.

  2. My favorite team just traded my favorite all time player. Oh I HATE this fn team now… F the Vancouver Canucuks all the way to hell. What a garbage organization.

  3. Canucks fans have 0 faith in management/ownership so getting pieces for a rebuild doesn’t leave us with any confidence. We had a chance to build the team around Hughes for years and have only gotten worse due to horrible management decisions. All I know is I’m a wild fan now and a devils fan in 2 years😂

  4. Minny fan here

This is very much trading the future for the present. Zeev will be greatly missed. I was very invested in him growing here. Rossi is a great 2C. Öhgren never got a fair shake over here, so it's hard to determine his ceiling. I'd call it a great swing for Vancouver, though.

I think both teams really scratched each other's backs on this one. Vancouver seems to be on a soft rebuild, and Minny is tooling up to win now. There are a lot of Minny fans that are exasperated right now because we're not used to big swings and serious pushes. I think they'll change their tone once they actually see Hughes in our system.

    Overall, super stoked

  5. Ohgren has been brought up from Iowa sporadically over the past couple of seasons. He hasn't exactly lit up the score sheet – yet, anyways – but he certainly doesn't seem to lack drive and commitment. I would say that there is still time for him develop into a solid player.

  6. I think Van did well with this deal considering he was never going to stay.
If he doesn’t re-sign with the Wild, Van wins this deal 10/10 times

  7. Everyone assumes Quinn will go to NJ eventually, but why does nobody consider Jack coming to MN, followed by Luke later? Quinn is going to love MN, and if the team has success it makes far more sense for his brothers to go there instead.

  8. Don't understand this from Minnesota. They gave up too much imo. Now they look weak down the middle. Hopefull they can afford to pick up another centre

  9. I honestly feel like minnesota wouldn't have traded for Hughes if Geurin didn't feel like there was a chance to get him resigned. I also feel like Geurin may have been talking with him too since he is the GM for USA

  10. 1:41 #12 best available Vitali Kravtsov… Oh boy that definitely didn't age well.

I just feel for Vancouver. Beautiful city with (currently) a disaster of a club.

  11. man i hate the coping the fact is that we can’t good players in the building. even if the young pieces pan out theyre just going to leave

  12. Quinn Hughes is a Norris caliber defender who has the charisma of a rock and Vancouver has to be the most miserable team to be on right now. hope it works out for him, just glad he didn't end up going to NJ because that would have made things insufferable

  13. So Eck doesn't know anything about the high prospect going to Vancouver BUT thinks Vancouver won this? This channel is horrible.

  14. Canucks suck. And like the sabres they will never win a cup..alvin is a dolt, The owners are a joke don't spend money on marquis players..lindh9lm/zadorov/ their best players in playoffs and wont sign them is proof of there incompetence. Wouldnt give Z an extra 400k to stay? Owners dont have winning mentality and never spend. Why mess up a good thing unless your incompetent. Dont say the cap, they can make room. The best forward theyve had in 30 years is marcus naslund..messier didnt count..its a loser franchise

  15. Proven pint per game dman that drives play. SPECIAL

All these players coming back are all pending

But it’s van. They’ll squander it

  16. This is going to move the Wild out of the .500ish group of teams that are sometimes good or sometimes bad. This is going to either destroy the Wild or boost them to a good playoff run.

  17. How do you give your team the best chance to win something? You get the best players. You don't ship all of them out for injured subs. At least you get top prospects. Not maybes.
He had no choice but to leave. The management are clueless.

  18. Remember Trevon Linden being fired because he was being too patient? People wanted to expedite the rebuild. Well, a couple of years of "meh", and now back to a full rebuild. Will those guys who took down Linden to get in his chair be ever called out?

  19. Vancouver got a bunch of nobodies and giving up who could arguably be the best Defense,an in the league for the next 5 years.

  20. Öhgren and Lekkerimäki reunited from their time in swedish Djurgården! Now all VAN needs is to trade for Noah Östlund and the trio is reunited.

  21. The funny thing is minny fans actually think they are going anywhere soon with this trade 😂 they will still get smoked by Aves, Knights, or Stars in playoffs

  22. I like Quinn, but we have up SO MUCH to get him. A first round defenseman, and a first round pick would have been enough. Then they let two more go.

  23. "The Canucks have hit rock bottom"
as of right now, they have a 4 game winning streak since they traded him, and yes I will keep editing this
