Paul Ihander & Max Goren recap the Carolina Hurricanes’ 2-0 win on the road against the New York Rangers to finish off the pre-Olympic portion of their schedule. Not only did Brandon Bussi get the shutout win on Thursday, but Seth Jarvis was also added to Team Canada as an injury replacement. Also, they discuss the awards and accolades handed out at NFL Honors, including Tetaiora McMillan winning Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Luke Kuechly being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The Canes got a shutout, but I wouldn't say they "sleepwalked" through it. They hustled and threw over 40 shots at Quick. Bussi stopped 16 of 16, including some grade A's. Tulsky was probably getting an in-person look at Tro and maybe Zbad. Stay healthy everyone.
I'm not a fan of NHL players going to the Olympics. Extra wear and tear… extra injury risk… not to mention putting the whole league at risk for injury to play extra games early because of a break.
