Panthers problem is the goaltending Florida is like top 10 in shot suppression which means the defense is not allowing the other team a lot of shots. If your defense allows like 20 shots and you give up 6 goals then that’s goaltending. Is the defense struggling? Yes do they hold some blame? Sure but ultimately it’s falls on the goalie. Bob this year has been sub par. In the playoffs bob would never let those goals go in that he has been this year. As for Tarasov, idk what’s happened to him. I firmly believed he has earned a chance to play more but he has clearly squandered that opportunity. This year if anything has truly shown HOW dominant a player BARKOV is. He is by far and it’s not even close at this point the best 2way center in the league
this is well before your time but the Montreal / Quebec rivalry was just as insane as the now TB / Florida. Look up the Good Friday playoff game between those two teams I was at the forum that night…the bench clearing brawls at the end of the 2nd period and then again as the teams came out for the third period was totally insane, Battle of Alberta is BS
Tonight, and tonight only, the mess was due to Tkachuk. Coming off the bench and then cross checking Kucherov from behind is coward level play. Lightning are not angels but that's not the issue in this game.
